The meeting took place at the inspiring space The Tribe from Hotel Riomar Ibizain Santa Eulària des Riu, and has counted with an outstanding participation of professionals of the audiovisual sector of Ibiza, as well as with the presence of representatives of local institutions.

The training was given by Diana de la CuadraICIB director, who gave a detailed presentation on the different lines of aid and subsidies currently available for audiovisual projects in the Balearic Islands. During the session, key information was provided on how to access these resources, the requirements to be met, the call deadlines and the evaluation criteria, among other essential aspects.

The main objective of this conference was to facilitate access to information on public funding to creators and audiovisual professionals in Ibiza, thus contributing to the promotion and professionalization of the local sector. The Ibiza Film Commission stresses the importance of bringing these resources closer to the island’s cultural agents, fostering a solid, competitive and outward-looking creative fabric.

The day also served as a meeting and exchange space for different profiles in the audiovisual field, creating an environment conducive to networking, collaboration and the development of future projects. Among the attendees were producers, filmmakers, screenwriters, technicians and representatives of cultural associations, who have positively valued both the content of the training and the initiative of the Ibiza Film Commission to bring this type of tools to the professional community of the island.

The commitment of the Ibiza Film Commission to the dynamization of the audiovisual sector is reflected in actions such as this, which seek to offer real opportunities for growth and promote local talent. In addition, the key role of the ICIB in the continuous support of the cultural and creative industries of the Balearic Islands is highlighted, strengthening the connection between the different islands and facilitating greater territorial cohesion in cultural matters.
