The film portrays Olivier Verdier, a sailor and viticulturist who makes experimental and nomadic wine, which rests at the Mediterranean sea bottom or in terracotta jars buried at the foot of the cork oaks and next to the vineyard of Puig Oriol, who’s the person Olivier fells in love with, making a sailor decide to drop anchor in Collioure and on the islands of the Mediterranean.

The film shows Olivier life from the harvest at the end of August 2021 until the bottling of the wine in June 2022, illustrating the creative process of his wine “La Tripote”, which shares its name with the sailboat that transports it between Collioure, Barcelona and the island of Ibiza.

The screening will take place on next Wednesday, March 15th at 4:00 p.m at the Echegaray Theater (Málaga). After the screening, the public will join a wine tasting and discussion about the film.
