The audiovisual sector of Ibiza meets as a community

Ibiza’s audiovisual sector met this morning at the networking event cn networking event held at the Centro Cultural de Jesús. This event, organized by the Association of Audiovisual Professionals of Ibiza (APAI Ibiza) and the Ibiza Film Commission, brought together more than 50 professionals from the audiovisual sector in a collaborative environment and exchange of ideas.

The event has been an excellent opportunity for professionals in the audiovisual sector in Ibiza to connect, share experiences and establish alliances. The presence of more than 50 professionals from the sector demonstrates the dynamism and importance that the audiovisual sector is acquiring on the island. From producers, directors and screenwriters, to technicians, location scouts and casting agents, the event brought together a diverse and talented community committed to boosting the audiovisual industry in Ibiza.

The event also counted with the intervention of the Insular Director of Tourism, Juan Miguel CostaThe audiovisual sector is of great importance for the island’s quality tourism. Costa recognized Ibiza’s potential to become a key destination for audiovisual production, thanks to its unique landscapes, rich culture and increasingly developed infrastructure. Collaboration between the public and private sectors is essential to consolidate Ibiza as a benchmark in the audiovisual industry at national and international level.

The Ibiza Film Commission, as an institution that supports the development and growth of the audiovisual sector on the island, continues to demonstrate its commitment to the creation of a creative ecosystem, offering industry professionals the resources and assistance necessary to facilitate the production of audiovisual projects in Ibiza.

The networking was not only an opportunity to strengthen the audiovisual community, but also to showcase the island’s potential as a unique film set. With its natural landscapes, its history, and its urban and rural spaces, Ibiza offers endless locations for film, advertising and series shoots.
